We were talking yesterday about how we would like to be remembered after we're gone. I hope when that day comes my life can be summed up in four words: "He made a difference."
Thank you so much for your nice comment! The first one made me laugh just because I felt so unworthy of that, haha but it was so kind of you. Blogging "community" never ceases to amaze me in its kind spirit.
And secondly, your follow-up comment was very, very onpoint. Trust me when I say that I do not let a few pounds bother me that much, it more so just bums me out because it's indicative of being more lethargic in general which always feels secondary to being on a regular workout routine- getting back into the swing of things. But you made excellent points, and I know men will be men and likely not notice such things, haha.
It's hard to say how I would like to be remembered in a quip- I guess if it came down to it, I would like to be remembered as 'kind'. :)
Dearest friend, I'm certain that is what will be said! To make a difference in the world while we are travelling this journey , is the greatest gift we can give not only others, but to ourselves...
Your inspiration, determination to help others and honest caring for a better world, is what sets you apart and well on your way to having and continuing to make a difference! xo HHL
i hope that when my time comes, people remember my warm loving heart and the joy i as able to spread. we each make our on difference and it impacts everyone different. my hope is that i'm remembered with love, beauty and caring.
I think i echo your thoughts exactly Barry. I want to be remembered as someone who made a difference, someone who cared, someone who was there for people when they needed me.
Though we're all different I think we tend to attract people who have, at their core, values much like our own. Having come to know you guys as I do I think it's very safe to say that anyone of you who responds here will leave your mark in some way. Experience has shown me that our reach already extends further than we realize, our words affect those we will never know. I find that endlessly amazing.
it will be :)
